This is actually a perfect book. Found family, romance, plucky kids, kind people, uncovered secrets. I loved it all! I’m so glad the “conflict” of the romance and of the book wasn’t unbelievable or eye-rolly. This was sweet without being saccharine, and had traumatized characters without being a drag. Also did not see the “twists” coming. Sigh. It was wonderful.
