Favorite romance I’ve read in awhile. This book makes me want to travel again!

This was one of the most boring books I’ve ever read. I skipped whole chapters and didn’t miss anything important. The ending moved it up from a 2 to a 3 stars.

A nice easy read. Alex and Poppy sometimes made me want to pull my hair out but it was good to see the full range of their relationship throughout the course of the story

Poppy bad hygiene stuck with me. Outside of that, it was a modern take on the friends to lover trope.

I had previously maintained that this was my least favorite Emily Henry book - mostly because friends-to-lovers is one of my least favorite tropes. But I still cried on this reread and there were multiple things I had to underline because they were so true or beautifully written. So I guess it’s really just a matter of degrees!
