i have no words

i don’t think i’ve cried in a book like this since kingdom of ash and that one was a rollercoaster. this one? i expected myself to be stronger. we hit the 40% mark and i could not stop crying until we got to the end.

do i regret reading this? absolutely not. it’s the most beautiful story i’ve ever read and i will read the other ones when i feel up to it. for the sake of my mental health, i will wait a while to read the rest.

wendy heiss has become one of the authors i will be checking out all her work going forward. absolutely fantastic work!

I cried so many tears, I feel dehydrated and my head hurts so much, such a bittersweet ending, just thinking about it makes me cry again
Their love are soo pure but the Fates are not kind
My Silene, my dear girl suffered so much that maybe the ending was a blessing in disguise no matter how hurtful it is
