I mean, it's Harry Potter so of course it's getting 5 stars!
First time listening to the audiobook narrated by Jim Dale though!

3era vez que lo leo y nunca deja de entretenerme, la nostalgia me esta pegando bastante fuerte y más considerando que fue el libro que me introdujo a todo este mundo de la lectura

Wow. This book actually really lived up to all its hype. The child-oriented writing style made it really easy to take in quickly while not forsaking any depth in storyline or characterization. Rowling's descriptions were specific yet not overbearing or muddled, and her plot was so addicting that I constantly wanted to know what was going to happen next(she also gets bonus points for completely shocking me near the end). The only thing I would've changed was the length of the section dedicated to Harry's pre-Hogwarts life. While interesting to a point, it did not have the same "fictional authenticity" or emotional magnitude as the story once Harry found out he was a wizard. Can't wait to read the next book!

Genius.

First time reading this book.
It was okay. I know the series gets better, but honestly I'm more interested in what happens to the side characters than Harry Potter .-.
