I actually enjoyed City of Glass much more than City of Bones and City of Ashes. Characters like Alec and Isabelle, who I wasn't really fond of before, I really like now, and Clary is a lot more tolerable as well. Of course, I still had some problems with it, especially with Clary and Jace's relationship, but all in all, it was an exciting read. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, now that it's been revealed that Clary and Jace aren't siblings and Valentine is dead. I have a feeling Sebastian isn't dead though, and he's going start causing even more trouble!

I finished City of Glass by Cassandra Clare this evening. This book definitely felt like the completion of a trilogy, so I am intrigued to learn how and why Clare decided instead to keep going. In this, Valentine finally figured out the third Mortal Instrument and was going to use it to "purify" the Shadowhunters and end the alliance they have with Downworlders. Of course Clary and Jace end up saving the day and also learn their truly lineage which does not include them being brother and sister. It was a really action packed read and I enjoyed this "semi" finale a lot.
