I've already watched the show so I know what's going to happen and I think I like consuming sports manga this way. Watching the show first to visually understand the sport and movement and then reading to get more from their thoughts and planning.

Now that I know what's going to happen though going back and seeing Kunigami talk about why he's playing soccer makes me so sad. Also Niko in that last panel?? My heart!

Reading this feels very slow since there's so much to look at and understand, but I'm enjoying it. I want to catch up to where the anime ended and get to the next arc and meet all the players~
