If you read Flock, you have to follow up with this. Clear your schedule because you won’t be able to put it down. And now I’m on to number 3!

Exodus utterly DEVASTATED me! (In a good and bad way). When I tell you I felt every single emotion you could think of while reading this book. From sadness, anger (wanting to rage throw), COMPLETE heartbreak (iykyk) and then peace and sadness again. I couldn’t set this book down. I read it in less than a day. My husband had to ask me if I was alright because I looked like a complete lunatic because of the emotional rollercoaster it took me on. This one right here? Regardless of the devastation, was worth every second! If a book can’t make me feel like it’s real life, then I don’t want it. GREAT JOB KATE STEWART!

Okay, so this book had slow points, but the complexity of the characters and how their plot lines are interwoven is what makes this a 5 star read for me.

3.5⭐️ Almost DNF so many times until about halfway through when I was launched into a state of UTTER DESPAIR and the plot started to pick up. So ultimately my Cancer sun/moon ass was left puffy eyed and sad-isfied☹️

This book wrecked me. Like, WRECKED ME. It was amazing and terrifying and I was always gravitated right back to it.

“We love rainy days, don’t we baby?”

Fuck. I’ve heard that quote before and I thought it was a good quote. Like, a cute, lovely heartfelt quote. Boy was I wrong. Well, it is an epic quote.

Even though this book wrecked me, it was, in a good way. If you’re not afraid to cry or be wrecked or changed by a book, then read it.

Beautifully written, but definitely not a why choose

This is not a why choose at all. This is a beautifully written heart break is what this is. This book absolutely shattered me and enraged me. I don't want to spoil it, but rainy days were my favorite too and they were taken away from me.
