The most I liked about this story is how convoluted the characters' sense of morality is. Sanderson delivers subtle nuances which highlight the concept of fighting against a tyrannical regime (it sounds very Mordor-ish).

There is not a definitive end to the overall story arc but one can stop here if they don't wish to continue as the characters in this book find their footing and their stories are well told.

I've had this book for over four years, but I only got to it now. I can't believe I missed out on this for so long. Extremely intricate plotting, great characters who're actually different from each other. Tense atmosphere, great action... It's EVERYTHING.
