I acquired this ebook from amazon as a freebie. One complaint, the christian theme of the novel is not stated in the advertising. When I downloaded I thought that it was a horror/fantasy story, not so, it is a christian redemption story.

The married with children protagonist, Jamie, is having sexy thoughts about a former girlfriend, and bang, he is in a mini-hell, "The Maze". This is a custom designed torture/re-education centre, where all of your sins and transgressions can be removed. Jamie has several close shaves, each of which elicits guilt and remorse, plus a desire to do reconnect with his family and do good in the future. He then returns to the real world, defeats a bad guy endangering his family, (who then ends up in his maze), and rededicates himself to his family. All good stuff.

The narrow x view of good and bad did not appeal, nor the idea of the threat of danger and pain as a teaching aid. I would not have knowingly purchased this book, but it was good enough for me to finish. It is well written.
