Còmic tendríssim on l'autora reflexiona sobre diferents qüestions vinculades al fet de ser dona i també sobre diferents artistes, en especial, la gran TOVE JANSSON. D'aquells d'escalforeta al cor.

This stunning, fragmentary graphic novel meditates on topics like trauma, language, travel, love, and the relationship between womanhood and creative work. I'd love to try reading it in the original French, not because the English translation doesn't do it justice, but because I'd like to read Delporte's sparse yet powerful words as they were originally composed.

This was an interesting web of references and memoir. I felt outside of her points of meaning. The artistic style and voice felt so passive and sad. The soft edges and color added to almost seem self effacing if not slightly erasing of the artist’s experience.

Beautiful, thought-provoking, and quiet book. I loved it.

This Woman's Work had such lovely colored pencil illustrations, but I wasn't attached enough to the subject matter or overarching theme to give it a higher rating.

An artist both visual and literary for our times, Delporte's feminary needs to be held and read closely to be experienced.
