i actually really enjoyed the story but there were multiple instances of fat shaming and i just can’t lol
I’ve been reading these completely out of order, but this one has a cringey and jarring fatphobic character description. I wouldn’t dismiss the whole series over it. I’ve read several others and saw nothing similar.

I was looking for a fun, light hearted, non-romance, enjoyable story to read after my last slog. That is exactly what I got here. I absolutely plan to pick up more in this series in the future.
Absolutely lovely book. I've made two of the cookie recipes in it, and there are several more that I'd like to make!
Just ok. Dialogue was a bit awkward, and the characters weren’t terribly interesting. I may try the second one on audio at some point to see if they get any better, but I’m glad I picked this one up for just fifty cents at a book sale and didn’t spend more.
