The main character Hannah is a know it all. Sometimes. That gets annoying. She likes to correct everyone.
I mean I read the cool. It's an easy read and my sister owns them all. I read most books I get my hands on.

I listened to the audio book. I enjoyed the story but I don't think I relate well to the narrator. The voices for most of the secondary female characters are too syrupy or fake. If you like Nancy Atherton, then I would recommend this series. For something a little less sentimental I would recommend Susan Wittig Albert.
**Rating this a 3 1/2 Stars**
I went into this thinking it would be a cute little mystery quick read and it turned out to be soooo much more than that. This author really knows how to spin a mystery and keep you guessing while also having an amazing time. I love how she gets your heart racing and after the chapter is over you can have a good time making cookies from the recipes she gives! It's like a reward for finishing each chapter.
I really thought I had it figured out and I didn't at all. It was unexpected and it made sense! Would reread this. If you're into thrillers/murder mystery and need a palette cleanser this is your book. It has enough thriller elements to keep you guessing and cute things to make it not so creepy!

This was a fluffy, fun read! I like a good cozy mystery now and then and this one hit the spot!
The book kept me guessing on who the killer was until right up to when killer was revealed. I also enjoyed the inclusion of recipes.
Looking forward to review the other books in the series!

Hannah did most of the work for Bill. That’s my main gripe about the story.
Took me back to my Nancy Drew loving days! Can't wait to read them all!
I reread this book close to a decade ago, and returned to it because I liked the Hallmark Cozy Mystery vibe. I can honestly say that I liked the movie better this time around. I finished it quickly out of curiosity for introduction of all the main characters. It is cozy, and there are a lot of cute recipes in them.
