It is best to read the book first and then watch the TV show. But...other than that. A fun first in the series. And yes, I made the cookies. Very good...a bit flat for my liking, but tasty!

I loved the story. As I was listening to the Audiobook, it felt like I was listening to the younger version of the Murder She Wrote TV Series but with a baker instead of a writer.
Let me just start off by saying that this was my introduction to cozies and I am HOOKED! I really don't understand all of these mixed reviews. This was light, fun, and not predictable. Also having the recipes included is just an added bonus! Who doesn't love cookies with a side of murder!? I am excited to see where this series goes and I have promptly added the rest of the series to my TBR!
