This is the sixth book in the Christmas series by Donna VanLiere. Melissa is a woman who goes out of her way to keep to herself, however when Gretchen and her children move into the condo next door it becomes harder and harder for Melissa to do. Neither woman likes the other very much and when a man knocks on Gretchen's door looking for Melissa with bad news, Gretchen is forced to tell Melissa her estranged mother has died. Out of pity Gretchen offers to help Melissa clean out her mother's apartment where they find a family secret. The two women, on separate paths find what love, family, and acceptance looks like.
This is another good book in this series. A few fun characters are back from the previous book which added to the fun. This is a great series to read at the holidays!

June is the month I start getting festive, don't ask me why because I have NO idea. Usually it's when I binge watch Hallmark movies, found this listed and thought I'd read the book instead.
Adorable family orientated, heavy in christmas spirit with a good dose of mystery and a twist thrown in. Nice easy read and there's a movie if you're too lazy haha :)

Heartwarming holiday book that could easily be turned into a Hallmark movie. A bit thin on the main conflict. The character of Melissa was interesting, mainly because she was portrayed as Ebeneezer in a collection of angels.

Enjoyable little Christmas book. Nice and clean with a somewhat predictable but enjoyable plot. A few unrealistic things but overall a book worth reading.
