Famous reclusive author asks this book store clerk that has one published paper to write her memoirs, highly unlikely. Strange story, great read.
This was okay. It held my interest solidly until the diary. I thought that part was so boring. Was it necessary?? The ending...ehh. There's still one part I don't get though.
I like the story. It's intricately woven, although at one point I think I already knew what was going to happen, but still, I liked it. I guess how it was delivered made a difference - it would have ended up boring and predictable if the writer wasn't skilled enough.

not a fan of the gothic in general, and this didn't do much to change my mind.
This is mostly mystery with a twist of fairy tale. Like many mysteries, it is fairly preposterous but still a good read. I would have given it 3.5 stars if the application allowed.
