This is the first of the series I'm rating below 5 stars for a couple reasons.
The main one is honestly Mr. Garfiel. While I appreciate his character actually has a legitimate backstory and a real profession going on, I hate hate hate the gay stereotypes that manga and anime like to throw around. I don't want to see it, I don't have time for it. Luckily, this is really the first legitimate criticism I have about character portrayal.
Also, Mei, I love you dearly but we all know we don't have time for animal mascot companions.

Action-packed, thickening plot, three-dimensional characters, and humor drizzled on each character, Fullmetal Alchemist is a book that should definitely be read by all. Left me with tears in my eyes and a warm heart for every character that you meet along Ed and Al's long journey.

Revelaciones importantes y la prestación de nuevo peesonajes que introducen a un nuevo arco.
This one was so much fun to read!
We have the Greed conclusion, finally find out who King Bradley really is, meet again with Barry, but most importantly with Mei and Ling with his subordinates Lan Fan and Fu, who I just adore and can§t wait to see more of them again.
The pacing in this volume is so much better than in the previous ones. There is a lot of action, but we also gain information about not only the story, but also about the countries. So good.

More of a transitional volume. It seems like this volume just started introducing a whole new set of characters and a new side plot.
Bad things about this volume: Stupid Winry and May
Goods things about this chapter: Lin and Lan Fan (I love Lan Fan)
