Finally, the extra writings by our QUEEN OF MAGIC organized, professionally edited & bound in one ebook. This Book favors love over fear, in the Machiavellian way, and sees self-aggrandizing as an offspring of insecurity and shame. it's pretty fun! You probably haven't heard of it because it's exclusively an e-book, and just collected reprints of things from the Pottermore website.

Once again, she's Magical!

JK will always be my favorite! Harry is the best series for all ages, for all time. Read them. You wont regret it!

Fun Facts But Not Much Else

Interesting supplementary facts for big Harry Potter fans, like the origins of some characters names, etc. Just something short and cute, nothing riveting.

I'll tell you why I loved this, it gave me answers to a lot of questions I forgot I had while reading the books. I always wanted to know why Professor Umbridge and Quirrell were the way they were and why there was such an odd stigma around potion making. Who is Peeves and what exactly is a Poltergeist?! This little collection answers those questions. It's simple, it's short and it's like reading a bound (in ebook form) version of the content I love on Pottermore. I wish they had been available in bound form but the ebook form makes it super convenient to read while I'm on break at work. It's always nice to have a little Harry Potter fix in the middle of my day. So, if you're curious about the pasts of teachers we never got real background for, check this out, you won't be sorry! JKR herself shares the origins of these fantastic characters and her thoughts on their stories and it's always a treat to hear opinions right from the author themselves!

I despise Umbridge, but interesting to learn some stuff about her. VERY interesting to read about Azkaban. I also liked the timeline of ministers of magic.

This was a fast read, which was exactly what I needed at the time. While I do love the magical world, I don’t believe that this added all that much to it. I enjoyed the information about Dolores Umbridge’s history and some of the tidbits about Azkaban, but my favorite section would have to be the part about Peeves. I had not truly considered his existence in the castle all that much, but it was quite fun to learn more about him.

Always fun to learn more

I love the HP world and though I definitely agree that Harry's story is finished it's fun to read more about the world itself.
