My Kindle library keeps saying I've read this, but even after perusing others' reviews I can't say I remember much, beyond thinking, "Who decided this should fit into the True Crime genre?"

This book was good, but a little precious at times. It definitely could have used an editor.

This story was less about the Rainbow Murders and more the authors life in the surrounding area during a different time period. Having grown up near this area I was excited to read this book, but it was poorly executed.

I wanted to learn about this case and about the women, Nancy and Vicki who were murdered and their story, but unfortunately this author does a poor job of making their story the center of this book.
Poorly written. Don't recommend.

Just because you can write doesn’t mean you should. This feels more like a self pleasing monologue for the author than anything. This book is such an injustice to how Nancy and Vicki’s story should have been told.

I confess, I skipped whole chapters. This was long, slow and well...I found it boring.
That's all I'll say. No spoilers here. In my opinion there's nothing to spoil. It's not that it was badly written, only endless. I read every work up to chapter 10, then I started reading every other chapter and couldn't tell the difference.
I'm usually much more kind than this. Maybe it's me and not the book?
