Like book 1, the pacing of this was not good. There was no buildup, no tension, not a ton of plot because their relationship was, once again, so fast.

Hawk and Everly

Another great read…but..Come on Everly. Enough is enough. Her character got to be a bit much and you really feel sorry for Hawk. He loves her and she has zero reason to doubt that yet she does again and again. Still a good read.
Hawk and Everly were child bff and first loves until Everly broke it off right before college. Now she has been hired to “fix” Hawk and those kindles start to flare back up.

I enjoyed the second book in the Honey Mountain series just as much as the first, maybe even more! I really like the way Laura Pavlov writes her characters and this family of sisters is really entertaining! So looking forward to reading each sister's story!

While you do have to exercise a bit of suspension of disbelief with the plot of this story, I really loved this book. This book is high school sweethearts who find their way back to each other as a adults. The story is a small town romance meets sports romance with some seriously swoon-worthy romantic gestures. The love story between Hawk and Everly evolved in such a beautiful way and rooting for them throughout the book was so fun!
