Ever Mine is the product of two of my favorite things: Laura & second chance romance! Of course Laura gave us all the sweet, small town love mixed with the sexy steaminess that comes with a second chance.
Everly Thomas is reunited with her ex Hawk Madden, after a long time apart, when she gets a temporary job working with him as a sports psychologist. Things didn’t end the best between them, Everly was consumed with the loss of her mother (and some other details that are revealed) and broke Hawk’s heart. Hawk is the GOAT in the NFL and trying to figure out what is missing in his life that is making him not so excited about continuing to play the sport he loves. Is it a something or a someone?
Everly’s pain and regrets were felt so strongly, I just love how Laura writes and makes these characters come to life. Everly and Hawk were not quick to get back together, they had to work through a lot of their past and where their futures are headed.
Ever Mine brings us all the Thomas sisters and their crazy antics. I loved seeing how well Hawk already fit in with their family. When your heart returns to where it has always belonged, then everything fits perfectly. And that was exactly what it was for Everly and Hawk. I love how perfectly the ending set us up for the next book which I am so excited for!

I absolutely adore the Thomas girls!! This small town family has big dreams & even bigger hearts. They love fiercely even if that means walking away from their person. That’s what Everly did

Everly and Hawk, is such a beautiful love story. I am a sucker for sport romance and cowboy romance, although this is not a cowboy romance.
This small town romance is sweet and funny. The Thomas sisters have me cracking up whenever they are together. Everly being the eldest struggled dealing with the death of her mother, but the way the sister bonded together and supported each other is wholesome.
Hawk, is a powerhouse of a hockey player, who was in love with Everly all his life. The way they rebuilt that time apart and rekindled their relationship is a chef’s kiss.
I still feel the writing is a bit different than what I am used to, but I am a Laura Pavlov fan. The only reason for the 4.5 is I felt like something was missing.
