Already know this is my least favorite in the series.

It was cute but oh my god Everly was so annoying and a little too self deprecating for my liking. Also I feel like she needs to remember that she’s not the only one in that family who is grieving the loss of her mother because she sure acted like she was the only one who lost her in my opinion.

Also found the story underwhelming, I was honestly bored with the storyline 🤷🏾‍♀️

Hawk is a sweetheart and I’m glad him and Everly finally started communicating their feelings and was able to move on from the past.

4.5/5!!

I enjoyed this story a lot more than the first. Maybe it’s because I’m just a hockey romance girl through and through.. but I won’t lie I do love a second chance. Ever and Hawk’s story showed that no matter the distance and the time spent apart, the one you’re meant to be with will always find you. And of course the spice was lacking for me LOL. AND the one thing about this book that was cringe, which was the amount of times someone “waggled their brows” like girl

The Honey Mountain series is very appropriately named as it is so sweet. This installment had a dash of drama, sprinkle of spice, and a huge serving of sugary sweet vibes.

And another one. Laura does it again and brings all of the feels in to her writing.

This is another book about another Thomas sister, Everly and her childhood friend and first love Hawk, a famous hockey player.

We had trauma, drama, laughs, tears, angst, spice. It had it all. I loved it, I love this family so much and will eat up every one of these books.

The only reason I took one star off is because the pacing is slow in this book. But it is still a really good read and I can’t wait to check out the next book in the series.

I absolutely adore the Thomas girls!! This small town family has big dreams & even bigger hearts. They love fiercely even if that means walking away from their person. That’s what Everly did

A cute contemporary small town romance with a hockey player lead. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4, but defintely not 5.

9 year gap for the second chance romance to come to fruition.

While this is a cute story and 5 stars for the amazing hero Hawke Madden (such a cute boy name).

The heroine Everly, was overly annoying. Especially in the beginning. It was unbelievable to me that she was a psychologist as she lacked introspection into her own behavior. The middle and end of the book were well done. Especially as Everly digs into her past behavior and her reasons for acting the way she does.

But I cannot give this five stars b/c it took the will of god to get through the first part of the book.
