Parts were funny but I did a lot of cringing. It’s like the author took their main characters from the series and turned them all into caricatures of themselves to serve the plot. This needed more time in development.

4.25

First off, this book would be a 4.5 if it had the same narrators as Pucked. It just makes sense considering it’s a continuation of Alex and Violet’s story. That said, I loved Pucked so it is no surprise that I also loved this book. So often when I love a book I am greedy for more. I just end up enjoying the story and characters so much that I feel like I could keep reading about their lives, no matter how boring. I think especially because most romance books end when the couple gets together and has their happy ending, but I want to read on about their life together and want to know more than what an epilogue provides. All that to say, this is that book. That continuation of characters and their life. I really appreciated that this book was also set after the other couples got together so they could also be featured and get an idea of what’s up with them too! You can really only read this if you’ve read the others in the series or you won’t get what’s going on or have things spoiled.
I really liked watching Alex and violet disagree on things and have actual productive conversations and find compromises together where appropriate.
