I've had this book sitting on my book shelf for over a decade and have just now gotten to it. Do I know how to procrastinate or what?
This was wonderful and I wish I had read it sooner! Ella is such a strong girl, taking action to move her life in a direction of her choosing. Even if she isn't sure of what direction she's trying to go. She's an inspiration to all and sassy to boot.
Everything was just A+.

This book was surprisingly amazing. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. Haddix puts in so much description, that you end up dreaming that you're in the book. A totally amazing tale told by one of the best authors alive.

I never liked the cinderella story. But I really enjoyed this particular take on the fairytale. It gave a realistic and enjoyable plot of what how happily ever afters are not what we think it is
Fun and easy read. I've never really liked the Cinderella story, so this was a fun take on what "really" happened. Control your own fate while others help you get there. Recommend to young readers

A favorite of my sister's when she was younger so I wanted to give it a read. Very sweet! A bit old school with some out of date fatphobia, no diversity to be seen. But I still enjoyed!
