I may be a bit biased because my sister in law is one of the editors but I really want to convince you this anthology is worth reading.

There’s is an abundance of post apocalyptic fiction focused on the cruelty of humanity but this is about hope. I admire the creators ability to introduce us to their world and tell a story all in a very short space. If there is a flaw with comic anthologies is that they leave you wanting more.

The apocalyptic backdrops are varied from the plausible to the fantastical, and the loss of once was haunts the stories. Bevan Thomas and Reetta Linjama’s “Steel Soul” made me cry. A. Lee is another haunting story with expert world building.

The art is as varied as the stories, full colour, black and white, hard and soft lines. It’s a big anthology 200+ pages and 20 stories. It’s well worth your time especially in 2020 where everything seems to be spiralling out of control

A lovely collection of tales of survival after the apocalypse. The world ends, but it doesn’t really.

A variety of art styles and stories. Some absolutely beautiful art, and heartwarming tales.

A nice anthology--good variety both in story and illustration style. Also seemed like a decent spread between more established and newer authors/illustrators, and several stories self-authored/illustrated. Good variety in "time" the stories took place in with regard to how "post" the post-apocalypse was. Thought the font choice could've been better for a few because it was small or hard to read. As an adopted person, I found the orphaned babies and savior complex of the robots in "Steel Soul" to be a bit handwavey and lacking nuance. Overall though I enjoyed the book and thought all of the stories did a nice job of sticking to the central theme of hope in the post-apocalypse.

A beautiful and hopeful anthology. There were so many times where my breath caught because what other apocalyptic fiction trains you to believe is that other humans are a threat. I wouldn't have even realizes this before reading this book, which feels like a breath of fresh air.
