This open door, small town romance delivers with a bit o’ age gap, slow burn, adult MCs, a single dad, and forced proximity. And even  better… it’s grumpy/sunshine at its finest!!

It’s the second book in the interconnected standalone Chestnut Springs series, featuring the eldest brother - Cade Eaton - and a wonderful supporting cast. It’s told in dual POV, has wonderfully written banter, and the chemistry between Cade and Willa is perfect. 

I was also beyond delighted to discover the book takes place in Canada (Alberta), which is always a bonus for me. 

Essentially… I loved every second of this read, and I will most definitely read the others

this is the only book where this trope is allowed at the end but still why it’s a 4/5 instead of 5/5 bc halfway down the book I was ready to give it a 5 star review

Qui n’aime un classique Grumpy x Sunshine, Single Parent Trope j’ai adoré la romance entre Cade et Willa. Ce deuxième tome m'a bien fait rire, d’es leurs rencontre j’ai tout de suite su que j’allais adoré.

Cade est la définition du perfect single dad, il aime son fils de tout son coeur et veut se qu’il y à de mieux pour lui donc quand Willa arrive son monde est complètement chambouler. Willa qui n’à aucune expérience avec les enfants était tellement douce et adorable avec Luke, les deux forment un duo à problème.

Cade et Willa clash plus d’une fois et se flirtent plus d’une fois ce qui à donner lui à des moments juste incroyable, certaines scènes étaient très osées mais ça matché avec la personnalité de Cade. Il y à quand même une véritable histoire autour de la famille et de vouloir le meilleur pour eux, les Easton sont vraiment génial toujours à se serrer les coudes et Willa à tout de suite intégré à la perfection cette famille de cowboy.

Meilleur tome pour le moment j’ai hâte de lire la suite.

This book was AMAZING!!! I love Cade by far one of my favorite mmc. Like he was just everything and more you need in a romance novel. His reassurance his sexiness his fatherly personality. I love it and it’s only fitting that they had a baby!!! It was all so perfect
