SO much love for this book. It was so wonderful...I give it 2 enthusiastic thumbs up and encourage everyone to read it.
“You make the wrong choices, you make mistakes, you disappear for a decade, you marry the wrong man. You get hurt. You lose sight of who you are, or of who you want to be, and then you remember, and if you’re lucky you have sisters or friends who remind you when you forget your best intentions. You come back to yourself, again and again. You try, and fail, and try again, and fail again.”

I loved this book. I have such a soft spot for books that span characters’ entire lives over decades and through all of their struggles and victories. This one was especially dear to my heart, and while some of it was difficult to read, I found myself saying “me too” so many times. This would be perfect for a book club. So much to unpack in these pages.
Thanks for the review copy, NetGalley!
I've never read anything by this author before this, but was recommended this book by another librarian and I'm glad she did! Very good!
On a week when none of my library holds were available, I picked this book from the new release shelf. I tried but I just can’t continue past the 80 or so pages I read. It is aptly titled, as I know EVERYTHING about the most minute details of these character’s lives. The level of detail is nauseating and a slog to get through. So, I choose not to.
Now, on to something better.

i really enjoyed this. though the prose is not amazing the story was good and very relatable. It covers a very large time period from the 50’s to current days. i especially enjoyed the womens relationships and the thanksgiving dinner scene.
I've read most of Jennifer Weiners books and think this may be my favorite. Only critique is that some times the year and the ages of the girls didn't seem to add up correctly...
The story of an imperfect family over the decades. One of those books that you are glad that you read even if you have enjoyed other books more.
Something about this book reminded me of Judy Blume‘s adult books. Many, many times I had to remind myself it wasn’t.
