This was a bit of a weird one, but I think I expect that from Lucy Foley by now. The front 85% of the story is mostly backstory and misdirection, and all the twists and connections are revealed just right at the end. And as much as I felt this dragged in certain spots, I definitely enjoyed it more than The Guest List.

Sadly this one just wasn’t for me. I found that the characters weren’t fleshed out enough for me to find them likable and even then most of them are just meh
I beg you to listen to this as an audiobook. It’s such a fun experience. Numerous pov’s being read by numerous narrators, whilst also using the relevant local accents. I loved this. The story had my gripped and was twisty as heck towards the end, but the overall experience of listening was great.

A bit more predictable and forced in its connections than her previous books. But I enjoyed the characters and the theme/message of ‘The Midnight Feast’. Overall, an easy and satisfying mystery that kept me entertained.

I really enjoyed it! But to me this is the “Abigail” to radio silence’s “Ready Or Not”. Its great, but its very similar to “The Guest List” and i prefer that one. I would definitely reread this tho!
