I am surprised with how good and entertaining this story was as well as how much I was invested on the main couple.
Derek and the secondary characters were not as fleshed out as Shawn (totally understandable given the shortness of the novel) but it was enough to get me invested in the relationship and on their happy ending.
None of the characters are interesting by themselves, but by putting everything and everyone together resulted in a very quick and engaging story to read.
Gets good from the middle to the end, after Shawn leaves Derek's parents early.
