Colette only writes GOLD

This book was funny, in touch with the characters’ emotions, sarcastic, and mild spice. Overall, loved it! I have yet to read a book by Colette Rhodes that I didn’t absolutely love!

These characters were so fun to get to know. I read this duet in 2 days!

On to Lou’s story now!

Like I said in my review of book 1 - What a fun duet! I really enjoyed this fun and easy series.

The story picks off where we left book 1 with the guys travelling to NYC to protect Ria from her crazy ex! With the story being complete in these two books, Colette has done a good job at mixing the relationship building with the outside plot tension.

The FMC
Still love me some Ria! Her outlook on life is hilarious - the old Ria vs the new Ria

Review is for both books of this duology.

This story took me by surprise. I regretfully admit that I judge books by their covers. Had this not been rec'ed multiple times, I never would have looked at it twice. Come on! Look at it. A super hot model in her 20's with perfect, wavy blonde hair, minimal clothing, a choke collar and a bear-ear headband.

Goldilocks is back in New York but her three bears are coming to rescue her.

This book was better than the first to me because it dealt with the topic of forgiveness and dove into deeper emotions in the menage-maybe-harem. I also really liked Ria’s efforts to create a “New Ria” who works out, eats healthy, is responsible, doesn’t dive in head first… it was just such a relatable post-break up activity.

I spotted the plot points from a mile away but it was a sweet wrap up for Ria and the guys.
