Volume 4 introduces Bond, the best superpowered dog the Forger family could ever ask for, in an exciting mission to thwart a terrorist attack! Each member of the family gets to shine in their own uniquely qualified ways, but Anya and Bond are truly the star players here. Their instant connection is so sweet and heartwarming as they race against time to save the family Bond never knew he had the right to ask for. Meanwhile, despite the fact that their family is growing, Loid still struggles to balance the reality of his job and the family life that he is clearly starting to want more than he's supposed to.

The addition of the dog is chef's kiss.  Still digging the story, will definitely be continuing onto the next.

This volume’s missions are all really one big storyline. It felt like reading what might one day be the first movie of Spy x Family. The action and characterizations just flow so wonderfully and the action is nonstop for most of the book. The last main mission part even feels like an epilogue. The short missions in the end are extra but they do feel connected still as the dynamics in them are a direct result of the main arcs. Altogether this is an absolutely amazing volume. This series has very quickly become one of my absolute favorite ongoing reads. Tatsuya Endo is firing on all cylinders in this volume and It just keeps getting better.
