Very enjoyable! It's a slowburn before things go down, so if you're not into that, you won't like this book

I just loved the way the author wrote and described stuff, like how frozen things look like they are coated in sugar. Or how Coke swirling, the bubbles, the sparkling somehow reminds her of the cosmos. I don't know why but I agree lmao. Will definitely read more from this author!

2020s and we're still getting full narratives where BPD is treated as invariably turning you into an abuser/violent monster, cool. Didn't dislike the writing or themes -- the style is very engaging, though some more grotesque descriptions were a bit much even for me, and I'm not particularly squeamish -- but when so much representation of BPD is already so incredibly stigmatized, it's just hard to enjoy another addition to the pile.
