Will is a burned-in love billionaire and he only sees the wrong in his twin brother's best friend - Hadley. Hadley needs a fake date to top her family from driving her up the wall at a family wedding and when Web can't help her - Will has to.
I will start this review by saying - enemies to lovers as a trope is really not my thing. But this was cute. Like Hollywood romcom cute. Hadley is pretty cute - curvy, competent, and sassy AF. She takes no shit and is bold. I liked her. I wasn't sold on Will. He is pretty basic and predictable and I don't feel like he groveled enough when it came down to it. Family hijinks, a city boy in the country, and a three-legged fox were all highlights for me despite them seeming far older than they were supposed to be? I am excited about all the side characters though!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Wedding Date Disaster is a fun, hate-to-love romantic comedy that would make a great movie. Hadley Donovan has recruited her super-rich BFF to be her fake date to her sisters wedding, hoping to head off invasive family members. But when she gets to the airport she instead finds his evil twin brother Will.
Will is convinced Hadley is a gold-digger trying to entrap his brother and determined to stop her. Clearly the feelings he has are anger and hatred, not attraction...This was entertaining, heartwarming, and pretty steamy, if a bit melodramatic at times. (You always KNOW something is going to go wrong near the end before they finally end up together) Will makes a lot of assumptions and is very judgmental, but there are also reasons for it beyond him just being a jerk. Overall I had a good time with this! I received a copy of this book for review. All opinions are my own.
Content warnings include mention of parent suicide

I was hooked from the first page and the talk of the evil twin. Let the high jinks begin as Hadley and Will face off in this epic romance adventure where hilarity ensues with pranks, the best made-up family games I have ever read about and an enemies to lovers swoon worthy romance that goes anything but smoothly. Between Aunt Louise & PawPaw they will have you cheering them on as they amp up the heat level up between Hadley and Will. The steamy scenes are sizzling when Hadley and Will come together. Do you get a HEA? You bet your cowboy boots you do but you have a helluva ride getting there and I for one was glued to the saddle for the whole ride. This was my first book by Avery Flynn and I can’t wait to read what else she has written as I have not smiled this much while reading a book in ages.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

lighthearted
1.5 stars rounded up because I did like the first 30% of this.
But by the end I was hardcore rolling my eyes at how it was:
1.) All over the place
2.) Not realistic
3.) Clearly not meant for me
Someone out there is gonna enjoy this, but the cheese was so cheesy it was blue - and I don’t like blue cheese.
I feel like I wasted my time reading this, but I’m not sure if it’s because the plot and the character motivations were genuinely poor or if I’m just not in the right mindset for a romance right now?
I really don’t know.
All I know, is I didn’t like it, and I’m sorry that I don’t have more to offer with respect to valid reasons as to why at the moment.

[This review makes no sense, but I don’t actually have enough brain cells firing in sync right now to accurately depict why I had such a problem with this book, and I’m too lazy to try and figure it all out. Maybe it’s the period brain, maybe I’m losing my damn mind... maybe I just need chocolate.]

Avery Flynn is quickly becoming a must read author for me.
I would recommend if you're looking for (Tropes galore)
-enemies to lovers
-brother's best friend
-small town romance
-only one bed
-fake dating
- billionaire romance
-Crazy family game nights
-some line dancing
This was such a fun, light, summer read. All of the twists and turns as Hadley returns home for her sister's wedding. Her desire to present the perfect life was relatable and understandable. Will was charming and I loved their chemistry.
Trigger warning: suicide, grief, loss of a parent, parental abandonment

Haters to lovers trope and a fake dating trope in one book?? You know that means I finished this in one sitting last night in our tent. I loved it.
The emotion and comedy in Avery Flynn’s books, always have me picking them up as soon as I can get my hands on them, and this was no different. This was classic Avery Flynn, which means I laughed while loving every minute of this story. Will is an idiot. Yup, I said it. Don’t worry, he learns some lessons during this story that make him much more lovable! You’ll hear me say it in review, after review of books I enjoy, but the backstory of characters and how that impacts their actions can make or break a book for me. This book explores how past trauma impacts the characters’ current choices and assumptions they make in different situations. These two definitely have some family dynamics playing a big part in their lives, but I loved how the characters were confronted with the impact of their actions. And seriously, Hadley’s family is so much fun, I hope they appear somewhere else (maybe her sister and Will’s twin, perhaps?). We shall see! I definitely loved this one! Thank you Avery Flynn for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
So I keep wavering between 3.5-4 stars, but overall this was a fun read. This wasn't my favorite Avery Flynn novel, but I definitely enjoyed it while I was reading it.
Hadley is best friends with Will Holt's (identical twin) brother Web, and for some unknown reason (for Hadley) Will does not like her one eensie weensie little bit. Yet, when Hadley needs Web to help her out at her little sister's wedding, it's not Web who shows up, but Will. And Hadley loses it (obviously).
Look, I love enemies-to-lovers, it's probably my favorite trope. The banter is so much fun and it's usually one heck of a roller coaster ride. For some reason though, this book felt way too lopsided on the enemies-to-lovers thing in that we spent SO MUCH TIME as enemies, that the lovers bit was a bit quick, then gone again, then resolved. I don't know what it was, but as much as I loved Will and Hadley together, it felt like we never got to spend time with them actually together and building that new relationship. Almost as soon as it happens, it's ripped right back away from you, because Will has this cockamamie idea in his mind that he can. not. let. go. of. It honestly became exhausting.
Regardless of all of that, Hadley was pretty freaking great. That girl was stubborn as a mule, but easily became a character I was rooting for. She grew, a lot actually, and seeing her surrounded by her family really added to the lighthearted feel of this book. The Donovan-Martinez clan was a hoot, and I am so glad we got to spend as much time with them as we did (PawPaw will forever be my favorite).
So long story short, aside from Will's "dog with a bone" mentality (which was honestly the most tiresome bit) I liked this one. It was fun, it was a quick read, it had some great characters, and I definitely had a grin on my face a few times.
