I found this a little boring, but I like the characters. Like Jessamey and Galen. I loved the anghast between this couple.

One of my favourite novellas in this series, both Galen and Jessamy are adorable and their story is ever so sweet. Galen is such a delicious barbarian and to be honest I was crushing on him even when he was being hard on Elena in [b:Archangel's Kiss|6582637|Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, #2)|Nalini Singh|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1347971407s/6582637.jpg|6579113]. I want to make really inappropriate comments about how I'd like to train with his weapons but I'll keep it classy.

I love novellas because they have so much loveliness in them. Jessamy and Galen are such a cute couple with so much history. The story had it all. Interesting characters that have personalities that you can enjoy reading about and care for them. Love that I was able to reread the novella because it has been forever since I read it the first time.

This reminded me of Nate/Tamsyn (Beat of Temptation) from Singh's Psy/Changeling series. Not quite sure why, but I think it's because the women are gentle and warm, and that age is an issue in the story.

Very hot prequel to the Guild Hunter series. Ever wonder why Illium's nickname is Bluebell? You'll find out in Angels' Dance ;)

The Guild Hunter series has a really interesting story arc to it. I find all of the character's to be very intriguing even the ones that I hate. Nalini Singh can always be trusted to write a series that has engaging characters and a full and fascinating story.
