This book is not an enjoyable read in the slightest. Despite being a short book it took me far longer to read than it should have (mainly bc I didn’t want to pick it back up when I put it down).
However, the literary devices, use of the “nadsat” language and development of the character, as well as the morality of the doctors, millicents and the narrator himself, make me imagine that this book is incredible when deeply analysed and discussed at length with a group. So while I can see the merits and literary significance, I will never read this book again.

This book is indeed very challenging. I wondered a lot about ethics while reading it and I still can't form a solid opinion about what the author is trying to discuss here or his motivations.

I liked this one way more than I thought I would! It was so cool to, like, progressively learn the language of the book and how it felt almost natural towards the end!

Took a while to get used to nadsat, especially when neither English nor Russian are my first languages, but loved the way it was integrated!
