I don’t even know where to begin with this review. Wonderful, fantastic novella at the end. BUT AGAIN I have to wait another year for the conclusion. So I will be in hiding till the next one comes out. But I am so beyond excited to see how this series comes to a close. Yet for now I’m just going to cry in a corner with a broken heart at this ending.

The guide was exactly what it was.. a fun series guide, basically a long winded review of the series in case you’ve forgotten any details before the new book comes out. But my review is based on the novella at the end. Since Keene is my favorite character … and Ro.. I loved it. It wasn’t a full story… but it was great dipping back into that world, and feeling all the foster Keene feels, and learning about his new abilities and seeing how they are affecting him.. I liked reading from his perspective … and did I mention how much I love Ro? Anyway. Im hooked on this story… so I adored it. Even if I know it’s not a five star worthy novel…. My heart wants to give it all the stars…. So I pulled back and gave it a 4. Which is fair based on its genre and target audience. .

AAAHHH- this is still a favorite series (maybe not as much as it was when I started), but this was amazing! Awesome plotline, and I loved the characters even more. The novella bit absolutely broke my heart- not that it wasn't already crushed, thanks to some other books that I've read. ('empire of storms, acomaf, allegiant.') But I seriously can't wait for the next one!
