This short story could have been great. It needed to be stretched out a bit. I felt like it was over before it ever started. Also 45% of my book was ads for other books. I'm not a huge fan of that.

2nd book of 2013....and a disappointment. I had gotten it for free on Kindle (yay for freebies) a while ago, but just now got around to reading it. Let me just say as a warning- it's a very short story!
Just as I was trying to get past the bits of cheesiness and beginning to get intrigued and thinking it could be an interesting story, it ended. Just like that. The parts at the end about the author and other books were almost the same length as the actual story.
Honestly, I don't even remember that much about the story:
There is a girl who loves books and fairytales, so when she sees a book like that in the store, she spontaneously grabs it. As she's leaving to get into her taxi, some person pushes her, making her spill her coffee and drop her book, and takes the taxi for himself. Then someone comes along, picking up the book and being all nice, which makes her feel better and all that. Some other stuff happens and then through an attempt to help someone, the same stranger comes to her rescue...and it ends.
I wish it could've been longer, at least to expand on the idea some. Overall, though, I guess it was a pretty cute story.

I think this the shortest book I've ever read in my life. It was kind of pointless and I didn't get the positive response I wanted from the cover. But it was a free ebook.

Very short story (free for my Kindle) -- cute and a good message about making a difference with the small & simple.
