I really wanted to like this book, but I just can’t. It is just so long winded and boring. It was a required reading book for my school and even the teacher didn’t enjoy it.

it was fine, my main complaint is that there is almost no plot, i do like the message of the book. It seems to be too short, there are too many storylines in too short a book, if the book had been longer and the stories might have been unfolded more it would have been a very good book. I thought that it was a shame that Sissy wasn't a larger part of the story, she would have been a good heroine
