amazing book! loved it so much, Rhodes went straight to number one of my favorite Mariana Zapata's book boyfriends! and if you don't feel the same… you're wrong.
I have to get out of the way that my least favorite part of this one was… the romance. I know, I know! I just feel like their relationship (specially the beginning) was very father/daughter coded and I couldn't unsee it… he seemed to regard her as someone he had to take care of just like his son Amos and that just didn't sit well with me because I couldn't get past it and it would be really weird to go from that to romance and everything that comes with it…
Aurora is an amazing fmc! she's not your typical female protagonist but I really enjoyed her careless kind of juvenile character. I think she represents a lot of women at her age that just feel a little lost and don't have any idea what to do… specially after a "divorce". I quite enjoyed that aspect of her character but at the same time I think it kind of affected the romance aspect because I couldn't really see them being on the same page and being compatible in certain aspects…
Amos was one of my favorite characters! he's pretty amazing! I mean thinking he could pull it off without his father knowing… AMAZING! LOVED IT XD his relationship with Aurora was one of my favorite things in this book and he was such a great character!
I really, really enjoyed this one! I just didn't give it a higher rating because it is a romance and I did not like the romance so… but still would recommend!

Que libro tan hermoso me dejo con un vacio existencial de amor cuando lo termine. Mariana lo hizo de nuevo que librazo.

2.5 - 3 // Mariana Zapata has become a go-to romance writer pour moi just because everything she writes feels mature enough for me to not have to constantly want to be blowing my brains out (emphasis on constantly because she too falls privy to the curse of romance lit awkwardness/extreme cheese). This was a solid read but knowing that she had Kulti and The Wall of Winnipeg in her has made my standards for her books a bit high compared to others in the genre. I did read it in like one night if that means anything.
