I prefer the story with the animals, even though the idea of someone trying to eat tiger poo horrifies me. Wild how many characters they gender swapped for the UK touring version of the play to make it slightly more diverse as in the book I think the mum is the only woman??

I really liked it. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I never wanted to put it down. Pretty slow in the beginning so you kind of have to bear with it but, it’s crucial background and character building. It is essential to the book. I really enjoyed it :)

This book deals with the extreme situation of being lost at sea for several months and everything that goes along with it. For the majority of the book, the main character is sevearly dehydrated. This is a book about trauma and survival and spirituality/religion.

I mean I’m glad I read it. As another reviewer said it was like an info dump, an absolute overload of information. The plot moved along slowly that I really had to force myself to read.

I thought I knew what was goes on and then the book ended and I feel kinda stupid. It was really good though     .

Very good, I just wish it didn’t take half of the book to actually get into the plot but after that it was great. I enjoyed the characters and the twist was fun the pacing was just off
