4.5

I LOVED THIS bakerhannah for the win

Startlingly Catholic but other than that, a pleasant read

I felt like this story took a very long time to really get going. I recognize the author wanted to set up the group dynamic and build relationships, but I think it could have been done a bit more interestingly and efficiently. I also found the style to be a bit overwritten for my tastes, and it pulled me out of the narrative from time to time. However, this book has some incredibly effective parts that made me tear up. It’s definitely worth a read, but the first half required a lot of patience from me.

we don't have a 4.5 option, and i'm feeling extra in the mood for romance today, so 5.

cried a few times reading this.
