ruined my life and altered my brain chemicals for the good and the damned. ive read it and now i'll never be the same person. got me shaking crying throwing up @ 5 am. i 10/10 recommend.

this was my second sapphic book read and what the fuck??? i was not ready for the emotional ride. i opened this book expecting a cheesy best friends to lovers slowburn but i got internalized homophobia, //blatant// homophobia, religious guilt, and two repressed queer kids making terrible (but understandable) life choices instead. it did not disappoint. as a lesbian asian girl living with a conservative catholic family, i felt so seen.

no book could ever cause me great emotional pain and then comfort me at the same time like her name in the sky did. i love this book with all my soul. if i lose all my memories, i beg that someone would tell me to read this masterpiece and experience the ride as if its the first time.

this is one of my favourite books ever. everything about it was perfect. the writing was stunning and hannah’s character was written so beautifully. i could not stop reading. it’s the best friends to lovers trope but it’s such a rollercoaster. i loved everything about it and think it’s an important story to be told. although the romance was strong, hannah’s character development was my favourite part

the ANGST

Intense in ways I genuinely didn't expect. A pleasant surprise that showcased just how confusing navigating life can be at times.
