cried a lot, sobbed a lot, the religious trauma of it all, hannah paralleling and reflecting most of my personal experiences with religion and God got to me. And Ms. Carpenter >>>>

This book destroyed me. I need a sequel/novella RIGHT NOW. I loved everything about this book. The characters are so human and lovely. Hannah had a truly incredible evolution arc, and Baker also did, even through I would've loved her pov. I don't hate her, she just reacted to things in a different way than Hannah, and I can understand that. Bakerhannah is so cute, I need more, more, more, because half of the book they just ignore eachothers. The last 100/125 pages are pure gold, I nearly cried (I never cry for books) and I spent all the afternoon thinking about what Hannah passed through and feeling sad for her, it's insane. This book really speaks to your heart. I can't help but beg everyone to read it NOW.
Ps: special mentions to all the other friends, excepially Joanie and Wally, I loved them

a book has never made me so emotional in my entire life. i cried... not a normal amount. i don't know what it is about her books, but this author manages to rip me open and pluck at every sensitive nerve i have, until i'm a broken, raw mess. (in a good way. sort of.) every moment of the story was bittersweet, agony and bliss. my heart ached for every inch of pain hannah and baker suffered, and it sung for the moment they were met with peace. i can't, even, put into words, how seriously perfect this book is. it's insane. it's going to live in my mind forever.
