This was a great read. I don’t have tons to say besides the fact it was just plain enjoyable. Although it doesn’t have all my favorite tropes as the first which is why it’s knocked down a tad.

Kiki Burrelli’s writing is easy and flowing for me, never am I having a full moment as I read, no do I ever feel like skimming. I feel she balances plot, romance, and domesticity well so I’m not bored. There were a few editing mistakes and a very small continuity error but otherwise, I didn’t see any problems. I’m glad I went onto the second book in this series!

Heath and Angus are cute. I loved how over-protective Angus was over Heath, and Heath’s realization of who he wanted to be was sweet and amusing. Heath had definite himbo energy. While he was almost TSTL with some decisions I did understand his motives and feel the way it was handled made sense for me. This book featured quite a bit more natural pacing than the first, not instalove.

The side story with Gaia and Maggie is so good! I’m glad to see where they got to in this story, even if it had some bumps in the road. It was perfect for them honestly, and I’m glad to ll worked out for every couple we’ve ran into so far.

I am curious about the MMM… don’t know if I’ll read it or not, mainly because the twincest-but-not is a weird thing to me even though I’ll read incest. Lmfao!

Delightful. Desperately needed a proofreader.
