I can’t give it a full five because of Piper and Jason alone. They were barely in this book but they can still kick rocks.

The house of Hades made me wonder why Nico wasnt chosen as one of the seven. Like seriously. Without him, the so called "seven" wouldn't have survived a day in their lives. Especially Percy and Annabeth.
This book shows a side of Percy that I was hoping Rick Riordan would think of. That Percy can be a jerk. Not just to his friends but even to the gods. His fatal flaw if you ask me isn't his loyalty to his friends but the way he ignores everyone else who isn't in his small circle. He forgot about Bob and didn't consider trying to make amends with Nico and check on him after the battle of Manhattan. Percy also neglected Calypso alone on her island. I understood why she was so angry and bitter to even curse him and be mean to Leo.

I like how Rick doesnt label Nico or give him any gay stereotypes. I was super shocked when Cupid made Nico reveal his secret.

Now i have to wait a WHOLE YEAR for the next one.... The Lord is testing me.

OH MY GODS!!! This book.... first of all, the first 30 pages almost made me cry. Especially when Annabeth says "I love you" to Percy at the beginning.... just tears. but Nico! OMG! I WANT TO KILL HIM, AND HUG HIM AT THE SAME TIME.
