this book just had too much in it. I’ve started to feel that way in the last one, but this one really was too much. I think the original series was so successful because there was only one point of view and now that we’re juggling at least seven they’re just isn’t enough room for all of these characters to have growth 
 
personality.

I love Rick Riordan. The way Percy and Annabeth's trip to Tartarus wrestled with the morality of killing monsters and the morality of monsters themselves was absolutely stunning. Riordan really got to the root of the question of good and evil, black and white, etc., and I appreciated that so much.

Also, I would do anything to make Nico di Angelo happy.

Also, I am going to KILL Perseus Jackson if he does NOT tell Annabeth that he loves her SOON
