A new series from one of my favorite mangaka! I LOVED this! The art is beautiful as always, the characters are likable but not too perfect and the story drew me in the second I started it! I can't wait to dive deeper into this world!

Mayo Sakueada is a quiet high school student who starts a job at a “listening house” where she is listening to people’s problem. Her first client is no other then Kota Aobo, a basketball player at her school. As he starts confiding in her, Mayo is slowly going to be more involved in his life.

Mayo is the type of character that I hate and that annoy me so much, she is the quiet one that no one is noticing. Right away she says that “she is just an ordinary girl and that she doesn’t have any friends”. While Aobo is your typical guy who is mean towards the main character. He’s the star player and yet, he wants to quite basketball. I’ve seen this time and time again, so I’m not really interested anymore.

I must say though that I liked the part-time job where she listens to people’s confession’s, I thought it was a smart idea and actually original. But the fact that Aobo and Mayo knew each other before but that he doesn’t remember it and that, therefore Aobo becomes someone special for her because he listened to one of her problems back then and now she wants to be the one who listen to him. I get it but it’s just too cliché for me.
