EMILY. Omfg.
I think this is one of her best in the series yet. She put some triggering content in here and I think it made it better.
Father Cade could slap me upside the head and I would say, “Thank you, Father.” ✨
There’s something about a man that internally battles his love for a woman and his love for God while choosing the woman every time, regardless of his regrets. This story was hot, angsty, dramatic, and actually very sad and heartbreaking. I’m so proud of you, Emily! x

I absolutely LOVED this one! I think it may have even become my fave in the series, which is a shock because I was obsessed with Wretched.
I was obsessed with Father Cade from the very start, his obsessive stalking ways

I love this series! This one was consumingly dark and I devoured it within 2 days. Amaya was so strong, she did what she had to do to take care of her brother and I commend her for it. I love how she stood up against the injustices she faced and it was nice to see Cade take care of her in the end. Cade had so much inner turmoil, I like that he was instantly obsessed and worshipped her even if he was a tad extreme, okay let’s be real a lot extreme. The church and dance studio scenes!!
Absolutely loved this book!
Let me start by saying this was definitely a DARK romance and there are many triggers. Although I do recommend the book, I definitely say you should read the trigger warnings beforehand.
The story was written so well and I thought that Emily handled the more triggering aspects very well for the characters. I also love that even though the characters grow and develop by the end, they don’t complete change into a new person just because they found love. They embrace their darkness.

I would’ve enjoyed this a lot more if it didn’t have to do with religion and preiest which made me uncomfortable so i skimmed those parts. I was invested in the plot more and loved the scene of amaya, her brother, and cade together
