I loved this book so much but I hated how it ended so 3 stars.

I absolutely loved it even though I dislike sci-fi. At first I had trouble with distinguishing the large cast of characters from each other. The plot thickens, and oh man. I cried.

Technically I finished this book, since I skipped ahead to read the end. But since I skipped like 50% of the middle and only read the beginning and the end, I’m counting it as a DNF.
I’m not sure exactly what didn’t work for me, but I found it tedious and confusing - I’d probably have been more tolerant of the confusion if I’d found the rest of it more compelling. Definitely not the target audience.
