I honestly dont even know where to begin. Heathens is JAM PACKED. Theres so much happening, so much to be said and does not disappoint on the steamy scenes and plot. I was absolutely floored with how this book ended and dont know how im going to hold on until book 3!

This series blew me out of proportions. I was on the edge of my seat every second of the wayy. Gosh, this book gave me the worst hangover ever. I loved all the twists and turns. I loved the writing style so so much. I can't wait to read more by the author. THIS WAS SO GOOD AND DARK AND WOW. It sang to my dark romance heart.

Highly recommended to all dark why choose romance lovers, with no triggers, of course. If you do have them, check the content warnings.

TITLE: Heathens
GENRE: Dark Romance
AUTHOR: Sheridan Anne
TROPE: Enemies to Lovers
TYPE: Series (Depraved Sinners Book 2)
POV: Multiple POV
MY RATING: āļøāļøāļøāļøšŸ’« / 5

āš ļø Check trigger warnings; this dark content is for +18 readers.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
āš”ļø Mafia Brothers
āš”ļø Kidnapping
āš”ļø Steamy, Kinky Smut
āš”ļø Blood & Gore
āš”ļø 3 Psychotic men with no morals

Heathens picks up right after the cliffhanger from Psychos, and the angst and tension continue all through the second book in the series. Shayne tries to prove her innocence even though it falls on Roman & Levi's deaf ears. So many twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat until the massive cliffhanger ending. I will start the next book in the series immediately to see what happens next. I am giving Heathens a rating of 4.5 / 5 Stars.

Shouldnā€™t be surprisedā€¦ HOLY MOLY!!

Omg. Omg. Omg.

Itā€™s FINALLY here! And itā€™s everything I couldā€™ve imagined and more!!

Shayne and the boys are backā€¦.. and a little bit more damaged. After being left in that first cliffhanger, we come back face to face with the reality that these brothers donā€™t play when it comes to one another! Roman and Levi are hellbent on getting revenge for Marcus and poor Shayne is at their mercy. She doesnā€™t go without a fight first though! Sheā€™s on tough cookie!

Marcus finally comes to and backs what Shayne was saying. Abs now Roman and Levi will spend forever making up for the torture they put her through!

And, that drum sceneā€¦. Wooooo

don't know how Roman is going to come around in the next two books

Another great addition to the series! I'm loving it so far, and while I can see that Roman is attracted to shayne, I just don't see how I'm ever going to feel like Shayne isn't a stand in replacement for the love of his life who died.

Face palmā€¦ Sheridanā€™s cliffhangers will be the death of meā€¦I enjoyed seeing the plot progress I this one. Itā€™s not all just talking and planning. Moves are made to move to story. Iā€™m afraid to start book 3 knowing book for has a while yetā€¦Iā€™ve heard the cliff in book 3 is rough.

Characters:
-Shayne is definitely less annoying in this book, sheā€™s growing a back bone and learning to adapt in the situations she finds herself. I like that sheā€™s growing.

-Roman, Marcus, and Levi, well damn I like seeing all their interactions with Shayne. Sheā€™s under all of their skin. We got a peek at each guy and their baggage, but I still donā€™t feel like being 2 books in I donā€™t know them as well as we should at this pointā€¦idk maybe Iā€™m to needy. Iā€™d like to get questions about them out in the open.

Things I Liked:
-The story is moving and itā€™s got me hooked
-The spice is a perfect balance w/ plot
-Shyne growing as a character
-Her relationship developing with the guys
-Her relations with Dill and Doe

To say that this had my attention and had me on the edge of my seat for certain scenes is an UNDERSTATEMENT! I absolutely loved Heathens and reading/listening to some more about Shayne and her boys. I went through so many emotions while listening to this and I was so mad at Levi and Roman for quite a bit for what they had done. When the cliffhanger happened I was so mad I wanted to throw my kindle but then I remembered book 3 is already out!

I think the narrators did a pretty good job, especially when voicing the other gender. I was able to distinguish when it was other people talking of the same gender or the opposite gender.
