i just think it's hilarious that fonda lee is so insecure in her opinions, she blocks people that disagree with her on twitter.

Fonda Lee has masterfully created a complex world on the island of Janloon. The Green Bone hierarchical structure is such an intricate system that is indelibly tied to Kekonese culture. At times Green Bones are worshipped and feared just as much as, or in lieu of, the gods. This is some of the best character work I’ve ever seen. From Lan to Shae to our sweetbabycinnamonroll Anden to Bero’s lil’ weasel self – each character has such a distinct voice, no matter how briefly they appear. Even the thick air and humidity seem to take up space on the page.

And Kaul Hilo – my man, my man, my mannnn!
